The Shanley Hotel is one of the most notorious haunted locations in the northeast United States. Owners past and present have all claimed that it is haunted by numerous spirits and paranormal investigations happen there frequently. When I had the chance to talk about this amazing historic location with Gail and Cara of Nine Lives Paranormal, I knew exactly what I wanted to ask.
Not only is this building well-known for being haunted, it’s also known for some pretty lavish parties and celebrations throughout its life. So I wanted to know how the two personalities can co-exist in one location. Does the positive energy of parties and celebrations enhance the hauntings, or do the tragedies that happened there outweigh the more festive times?
